Talisman and Token specialise in vintage jewelry and contemporary jewelry of the late 19th and 20th century, with an emphasis on Scandinavian jewelry, British jewellery and other European jewellery and Ethnic jewelry. We have just added a section for costume jewelry which at the moment has only a few Lea Stein brooches and Marie Cristine Pavone braclet. We will be adding more costume jewelry later. Also, our books section is underway where we will stock a variety of specialist jewelry books. In particular we carry work by Scandinavian jewellery designers including Georg Jensen, Hans Hansen, Lapponia, N E From, Michelsen, Anni and Bent Knudsen, David Andersen, and Lapponia. We carry British jewellery by both vintage jewelry and contemporary jewellery artists including Wright and Teague, Wendy Ramshaw, Joel Degan, Susan May, John Donald, Stuart Devlin, Dower and Hall and many others. Our Ethnic jewellery section carries work from India, Tibet, Africa, inlcuding work by Berber, Tiznet and Etheopian communites. Most of our ethnic jewelry can be worn and enjoyed, but some pieces are intended to be enjoyed as beautiful pieces of sculpture in their own right. Whatever your interest in jewellery, we hope you find something you will like on our jewelry site.
